ABSTRACT
This
dissertation entitled: "ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IN
ISLAM AND WESTERN DEMOCRACY" has explained the following title: Chapter
One deals with introduction, statement of the research problem,
significance of the study, research questions, objectives and
limitations of the study. Chapter two deals with the Literature Review:
concept of general administration, government, authority, power, theory
of Islamic political system, sources of Islamic government, main
features of Islamic government, types of political system, democratic
system, communist system and monarchy system. Furthermore, the study
discussed the development of democratic system in this modern time,
sources of democratic system and its objectives, concept of Islamic
leadership (Imamah). Chapter three contains only methodology used.
Chapter four deals with analysis of concept of leadership, conditions of
leadership in Islam, fundamentals of leadership system, types of
democratic system, fundamental of democratic system, political parties
in democratic system, elections in democratic system discuses,
comparison between Islamic system and western democratic system. Chapter
five contains summaries, conclusion and recommendations discussed as
usual in the academic research dissertation.
