ABSTRACT
Acoustic is an important factor in theatre that had not been given extensive concern during architectural design under building form, eventually Architects during the conceptual design stage had barely paid attention to building form that affect the acoustic environment inside theatre halls. Eventually the importance of a dead sound became more important given the use of building forms to minimize sound reverberation in it. For the building form acoustic. A computer model employing the ray tracing theory was employed to investigate the three configurations, different acoustic treatments were tested relatively to the building forms disposition of each design finally, basic recommendation and design guidelines were presented that a hexagonal building form is best for a music theatre. Since the making of architecture occurs in a social construct, architecture must be viewed within the context of complicated issues surrounding class, race, nationality and gender. Every culture generates and maintains systems of meaningful forms - symbols, rituals, and places of collective importance - that are reflected in its buildings and collective spaces.
